I was the lead designer on this project. I was inspired by children’s books, especially Enid Blyton’s, “The Magic Faraway Tree”. The game design places an emphasis on relaxation, mindfulness and contemplation.
The story follows a renter who is trying to accept that their life hasn’t turned out as planned. They discover that their apartment has a magical door which acts as a portal to fantastic worlds when offered tea. This project was initially funded by film Victoria.
