This is a rough twine project I made in 2017, imagining what would happen if I accidentally guessed Nick Cage’s Hotmail address and started chatting to him on MSN.

I was remembering the good old days of using MSN Messenger in my early teens. This project explores digital artifacts and how we remember non-physical experiences like chatting online.

When I was young and there were no search engines it was hard to know what people user names might be. We used to try just typing in the names of people we knew to see if they would come up.
